The Benue State Governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia says he will be very brutal this time around with anyone who opposes his government.

The governor who spoke in the Tiv language loosely translated said: “Those who oppose new government, now we are one year in office, you have dared us enough by pointing into our face, spitting to our face, but from today I declare, whoever opposes our government, will be brutally dealt with.”

 

Governor Alia, a suspended Catholic priest and and perceived to be a “Healer,” was elected as governor of Benue State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
