A twenty-six years old inventor, Jacob Tyo, in Gboko local government says he has invented an electric rechargeable charcoal cooker to making cooking faster and convenient.
Speaking with our correspondent in a telephone interview, Tyo said he got the inspiration from his friend who suffered from a cooking gas explosion and was looking for an alternative of cooking without gas and with minimal harm.
He said the electric rechargeable charcoal cooker can use battery or electricity to cook, noting that it is faster, safer and economical.
Tyo stated that it took him five days to come up with the invention stressing that he was not satisfied with the earlier electric charcoal cooker he had invented.
Tyo who also commented on the progress of the one-man aircraft he is building, said he has suspended the project at the moment due to lack of funds to purchase the engine and complete it.
He added that he has attained over eighty percent completion of the aircraft and will resume as soon as he gets more funds for the project.
Tyo is also in working solar power systems
