Former French and Manchester United player, Patrice Evra says his former team mate, Christiano Ronaldo will use the world Cup in Qatar to show he is the best player.
Evra said the Qatar World Cup will be personal to Ronaldo.
The former Manchester United player, Evra also stated that Ronaldo will approach all matches to give something to the fans to cheer having been booed in the last match he played for his country.
Evra said: “I think Ronaldo will take his chance to show he’s the best player in the world [in Qatar].In the last game, he was booed by his own fans so he will be really hurt. He’s already won something with his country but I am sure this tournament will be personal for him.”
However, reactions have trailed Evra’s comment as some people have said Ronaldo is already a best player and has nothing to prove, while others wish him well at the World Cup tournament.
