BSU student dies after submitting assignment

A female student with Benue State University today died in an accident after submitting her assignment at school today.

Terdoo Anyam was involved in a motorcycle accident and died on the spot outside the University campus.

According to a Facebook post made by one of her lecturer, she was a 300 level student in the department of Mass Communication of the institution.

He said the accident happened in the morning when she was returning home after making submission of her continuous assessment.

He posted: “Sad day for me and the entire Department of Mass Communication, Benue State University. Our dear student and daughter, Terdoo Anyam came to school this morning to submit her continuous assessment for COM 303: Mass Communication and Society which I teach.

“On her way back home, she had an accident on a motorcycle and died instantly. I condole with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Joe Tor Iorapuu , the Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Head, Department of Mass Communication, staff, students and the family of my dear daughter.

“Terdoo, you have gone the way of all flesh and we can only wish you a safe trip to your eternal resting home.”
