SGF Akume congratulates Muslims on completion of Ramadan fast

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Senator   George Akume  has congratulated Muslim faithful in the country for the successful completion of their fast in the Holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement by the special Adviser to the SGF on Public Affairs, Terrence Kuanum,  Akume admonished Muslim Ummah to uphold the lessons of peace, forgiveness and kindness which are symbolic to the month of Ramadan and also pray for the peace and development of our country.

According to the statement, the  SGF seeks for prayers for our President, our nation and leaders across the country, and also call on Muslims to always remember to put the country at the centre in their prayers.

The SGF salutes the desire of Muslims to undertake their annual spiritual exercise and pray to Allah to give them the strength to always imbibe the teachings of the Ramadan and equally spread their message of love, peace and unity to other facets of the society.
