Ohakim, who almost escaped, had his backup car bombed, killing the four police officers in his convoy.

Ohakim was returning after a visit with two of his children, according to information provided by our source.

According to a source close to the former governor, Ohakim’s driver’s bravery enabled the ex-governor to flee.

The source said, “his excellency was the main target but his driver was smart enough to beat them because they were driving to block him.

“Disappointed that their main target had escaped, they blocked his backup vehicle and burnt it. The four policemen with him burnt.”
