Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State is facing mounting criticism for the sluggish pace of his administration’s governance. It took nearly three months for the governor to constitute his executive council, and now, weeks after the inauguration of Special Advisers, the issue of portfolio assignment remains unresolved, leaving citizens concerned about the efficiency of the state government.
