Executive Chairman, Delta State House of Assembly Service Commission, Mr Sunday Ohwo Ebireri, has felicitated with His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as Deltans join Christians all over the world to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Mr Ebireri also felicitated with the Speaker of the State Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor, principal officers, members of the State Legislature as well as members, management and the entire staff of the Commission on the Yuletide celebration.
The HASC Chairman in a statement made available to newsmen in Asaba, prayed to God that this year’s celebration shall bring greater peace and prosperity in Delta State.

He said, “On behalf of the Delta State House of Assembly Service Commission, I extend warm felicitations to His Excellency, Rt Hon (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor and Honourable Members of the State Legislature on the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
“I also extend same warm wishes to my colleagues in the State Assembly Service Commission, the management and entire staff of the Commission as we celebrate the Christmas and New Year season.
“May this festive period bring joy, peace, and happiness to you and your loved ones”.
Mr Ebireri appreciated the Governor and the Speaker for their tireless efforts in serving the people of Delta State and promoting development in the state.
He also expressed gratitude to entire staff of the Commission for their dedication to duty and urged them never to loose focus in discharge of duties, stressing that the year 2025 promises to be great.
“As we mark the end of the year 2024, we reflect on the accomplishments of the past year and look forward to the opportunities and challenges of the new year.
“May the coming year bring us greater prosperity, happiness, and fulfillment.
“Once again, I wish each and everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year’ Ebireri stated.

Meanwhile, the HASC Chairman, has congratulated the Governor for his son’s wedding that took place on Saturday, 21st December 2024.
Mr Ebireri described the event as a great moment for parents, even as he wished the Governor’s son, Clinton Oborevwori and wife, happy married life.
