APC Jos rally: Lagos lawmaker dies

Sobur Olawale, a politician who served as the APC’s representative for Mushin Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, has passed away.

Olawale, also known as Omititi, passed away on Tuesday in Jos, Plateau State.

Olawale slumped at the APC rally in Plateau, where it was confirmed  from an APC source in the state that he had passed away at the hospital from which he had been brought.

The presidential candidate and vice presidential running mate, Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, respectively, the APC held a campaign inauguration in Plateau on Tuesday.

Omititi’s demise is unknown at this time.

According to reports obtained by Newsflow, the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), led over 22 governors running on the APC platform and other dignitaries to the rally at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium in Jos, the state capital, where he also handed the APC flag to Tinubu.

Other dignitaries present included the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan; governors of Cross River, Ben Ayade; Kaduna, El-Rufai; Yobe, Mai Buni.

Also as part of the rally, Buhari, in the company of Tinubu, Lalong, the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, and others driven to the palace of the Gbong Gwom Jos, Da Jacob Gyang Buba, before arriving at the stadium.
