At least one person has been confirmed dead after a three-storey building collapsed in Kubwa Satellite town, Abuja.
It was earlier reported that some persons were trapped and three persons were rescued after the collapse.
The collapsed building is at Hamza Abdullahi Street Off Gado Nasco Road and is under construction.

Workers Trapped As Building Collapses In Abuja
According to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the incident occurred in the early hours of Friday.
The collapsed structure is believed to be a new hotel that had not yet begun operations, according to a resident.
