A Security Expert, Terence Kuanum has accused the Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, of tactically imposing a curfew in Benue State by ordering all businesses to shut down from 10 PM.
Terence disclosed this when he featured on the TVC’s programme, This Morning, where he spoke about the security situation in the State.
He said Governor Alia has failed on all the promises he made to secure Benue, such returning the Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, back to their ancestral homes in 100 days.

Kuanum noted that the security situation in Benue is getting worse by the day with no practical solution from the state government, stressing that the Governor has been overwhelmed by the situation.
“This is one year going, the security situation in the State is getting worse on a daily basis. Benue is no longer safe as the Governor himself has to shut down the state by 10 PM. In fact, Benue closes by 10 PM
“ The security in Benue is no longer guaranteed by anyone and that is why we are in the curfew of 10 PM to 6 PM.”
He described the situation as sad but commended Stakeholders in the state at the federal government level who are looking for solutions to the security issues in the state.
