The Defenders of Democracy, DoD, has criticized the Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia for delivering a democracy day speech lacking in substance and containing unfulfilled promises.
The group through its analysis of the Governor’s Speech said the speech was full of embellishments to deceive the pubic and taking credit on projects initiated and executed by the Federal Government.

30. Security: Alia has scored zero. He has bought the media in the state. Hospitals have been told not to allow media access to victims of attacks.
