A Benue state woman, Mrs Joy Dekke alleged to be a primary school Teacher, has cried out over the delay in payment of her September salary.

In a post she made on her Facebook timeline, Mrs Joy cried out over the delay of her September salary which she has not been paid on October 12.

According to her this is the first time she has experienced the delay and wondered why the delay.

She said: “it’s been twelve days into the month of October 2023. We have never had it this bad”

While she was not categorical, it was insinuated that she was referring to the delay of her salary by the Benue state government.
