Commenting the healthy competition, the spokesperson for the Benue State Labour Party, Kengkeng Ati, commended them but added that whatever the both of them do, the candidate for for the Labour party will win them at the polls..

“C’mon guys! Aren’t y’all seeing the solar street lighting competition going on in Makurdi? Una no even know how to trend better thing. If it is useless gossip of who slept with who, we will pioneer it, champion it and make it trend.
“The former and self acclaimed “Mai Solar” was enjoying a solo cruise until the incumbent interrupted the cruise to claim “Mai Solar Pro Max”.
“This is how politics should be done. Let the people be the biggest beneficiaries. The way it is going, by the time we will be going to ballot, every corner of Makurdi will be lit.
“Nevertheless, both are weary and watching closely the deep grassroot mobilisation and uncommon campaign strategy of the young Arc. Jerry Nater Agber who in my opinion, will carry the day at the ballot. My prayers and best wishes are with him.
“In the meantime, let the competition continue and even spiral into other things. We need a classic Makurdi and if a sizeable part of it will come to us through this healthy competition, so be it.”
