As Christians the world over celebrate the joyous occasion of Christmas, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor has extended warmest greetings to Deltans on the celebration.
Rt Hon Guwor who is the National Treasurer, Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly in Nigeria, said “he is proud of the progress we have made together as a state”.
The Speaker goodwill message to Deltans is contained in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, CPS, Mr Nkem Nwaeke and made available to newsmen in the state.

Rt Hon Guwor said he look forward to the dawn of a new year with great hopes and more positive vibes in Delta State, even as he prayed that the festive season bring to the state and its people peace, love, and happiness.
“As we reflect on the outgoing year, I am proud of the progress we have made together as a people. We have worked tirelessly to build a brighter future for our state, and I am confident that our collective efforts will continue to yield positive results”, Guwor stated.
The Speaker enjoined Deltans and indeed Nigerians not to forget the true spirit of the season, stressing that love, kindness and generosity remain the key elements of the Christmas celebration.
Rt Hon Guwor emphasized on the need for the people to continue to support one another, uplift those in need, and strive for a more united and prosperous Delta State.

He expressed confidence that the MORE mantra of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori which has been on auto cruise in terms of meaningful development and speed, will continue to impact positively in the life of the state.
