Stakeholders from the eleven council wards of Konshisha local government area of Benue State today September 12, 2022, paid a solidarity visit to the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Benue State and Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Titus Uba with a promise to unanimously work for his victory in next year’s election.
In their separate remarks, former assembly member for Konshisha, Hon Richard Ujege, Hon Clement Azuanongo and Hon Tyo Omo Lele said the visit was to identify with one of their own from the Jechira axis and to also pledge their collective support for his guber project.
Also speaking, former commissioner in the state, Engr. Dondo Ahire, Elders Chado Labar and Adzer Beke all said the people of Konshisha will reciprocate the gesture of Kunav for supporting their son Reverend Father Moses Adasu in the early nineties and advised Engr. Uba to look into the infrastructural challenges in the area, when elected Governor.

Chairman Konshisha local government, Mrs Christiana Amile, PDP chairman for Konshisha, Hon Timothy Hwer and Mrs Mwuese Ubebe also expressed the resolve of the people of Konshisha to work for the victory of all PDP candidates in next year’s elections.
The PDP House of Representatives Candidate for Jechira, Hon Julius Atorough, in his remarks, thanked the people of Konshisha for keeping faith with PDP while the member representing Guma State Constituency at the State Assembly, Barr. William Ortyom charged the people to hold onto their promise to ensure that PDP wins in their area.
Responding, Rt Hon Uba said he was overwhelmed with joy by the gesture of the Konshisha stakeholders to identify with him and appreciated them for their support during the PDP guber primaries, urging the people to sustain the tempo during coming elections.
He promised to improve social services and expand public infrastructure to enhance productivity and economic growth.
The guber candidate also pledged to reconstruct the branch Atser – Korinya and Korinya – Awajir roads, if elected Governor of the State, come 2023.
The event also had in attendance, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Hon Terver Akase among many other illustrious sons and daughters of Konshisha.
