The Editor of the The News Times, TNT, newspaper, Denen Achussah has threatened to rape the wife and daughters of a Benue social media influencer, writer and historian, Iorliam Shija.
Shija revealed the threat on his social media page which he said was contained in a chat between him and Achusah, providing screenshots of their chats.
According to the screenshot, Achussah a 42 year old wrote in Tiv language that he rape Shija’s wife and each of his daughters which the first one is about 7 years old.
Shija wrote: “I woke up this morning to recite my Rosary and also check my social media. I saw over 50 messages from Mr Denen Achussah both in my WhatsApp and Facebook messengers.
“His grouse with me stems from an allegation that I called his employer Prof Kohol Shadrach Iornem and asked him to sack him.
“I wish to expressly state here that Prof Iornem is an honourable person so he would confirm if I actually did call him. I don’t have his number and since 1980, I can’t remember ever calling him , in the past or recently.
“The confirmation and clarification from the prof is important because Chief Achusah has threatened to sleep with my daughters and pass them to his siblings who are seven for trying to bring him down.
“May St Felix pray for my daughters and may Mother Mary intercede for them . Amen”
Meanwhile, the management of TNT has promised assured that it will look into the threat.
