Yesterday, the forgotten Senator for Benue North West (Zone B) Senatorial District, Orker Orjev appeared on one online television based in Abuja and made some reckless comments regarding the internal affairs of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State. Jev who was literally wheeled to the Senate by the former Governor Samuel Ortom in 2019 had the guts to spew nonsense and grandstand about the party.
For all his years in the National Assembly including being a member of House of Representatives for many years and spending undeserved four years in the Senate, Jev has nothing to show as his achievements. Even the projects meant for his constituents, he cornered them and sold the projects to make money.
In 2018, Orker Jev was accused of diverting constituency projects meant for Buruku people and selling the constituency projects. The projects were to be carried out in partnership with the Small and Medium Scale Enterprises Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN).
As a Senator for Benue Zone B in four years, Senator Jev did nothing for the people. He did not hold even one constituency briefing. Every constituency project that was meant for the people of Zone B, Senator Jev diverted the funds for his own personal benefit. He was inaccessible and stopped coming home soon after the 2019 election till his tenure ended in 2023. Students and other stakeholders form his constituency attempted to visit him many times but he turned them down.

Senator Jev was given millions before the 2023 elections and he collected the money but went to build a personal estate in Abuja.
Orker Jev worked against other candidates of PDP in Benue State. He made no contribution to the success of the party and continued to do so.
Jev lied on the television programme that the PDP Ward Congresses were not transparent, and I ask; how can a man who is not in touch with his people back home know if the congresses held or not? The failed politician should call members of PDP in his ward and they will tell him that they held a successful ward congress. If the election was credible, the Appeal Panel that the party set up would not have upheld the process.
Senator Orker Jev and Senator Gabriel Suswam are in an unholy alliance with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to join the planned mega party. Their plan is to destroy the PDP before moving to the mega party which hope and fortune are hanging in the balance.
Suswam insults members of the National Working Committee of PDP and other stakeholders because they are being pressurized to justify the billions being spent on them.
Orker Jev is being sponsored to destabilize PDP with several court injunctions to stop the ongoing congresses which have clearly shown that Ortom is the one in charge of PDP in Benue State.
Jev is jobless now, so the only way he can keep himself busy is by carrying out the hatchet job in Benue State.

In 2018 he sought to install new structures and also picked up fights against old members of the party, Sokpo inclusive, whom he denied him his support during the primary elections.
