The Benue State Governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia, has supported the ongoing Cook-A-Thon in Makurdi by Naira-Victor with five hundred thousand naira and fifteen Cartons of beer.
Alia gave the support at Tiger Bar, Venue of the Cook-A-Thon when he came visiting at 2am on Friday.
According to the Governor, the five hundred naira is for the purchase of food items while the fifteen Cartons of beer are for his supporters.
The governor also promised to visit again to encourage the chef to achieve is desired cooking time of 135hrs.
Meanwhile, the speaker of the Benue House of Assembly, Right Honourable Aondona Dajoh has supported the chef with one million Naira N1000,000.
He gave his support Saturday, when he visited the chef to encourage him.
Chef Naira-Victor began his cooking marathon on Tuesday February 27, 2024 and has been cooking for five days now to claim the Guinness World Record title of the longest cooking individual in the world.
