Benue people have reacted with priases as the State government has procured Magnetic Resonance Imaging, MRI, for the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, BSUTH.
Governor Ortom had promised in one of his visits to the teaching hospital to procure the machine.
Consequently, the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, BSUTH Makurdi on Friday October, 28 2022 took delivery of a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Machine.

“Kudos to the Benue State Government for making this happen at this time. The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Machine arrived the State Teaching Hospital today.
Very few Teaching Hospitals have this Machine in Nigeria. Congratulations to the Benue community”.

“In spite of my many misgivings about the state of the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi this is a big plus that needs to be celebrated and praised.
I recall that I had to take my mother to Abuja for an MRI scan when it was needed by the doctors there. The arrival and subsequent installation of the machine will save Benue people a lot of hassles” he added
“Let’s hope it doesn’t suffer from lack of power supply.
However, there are other teething problems the hospital needs to address”.
This is indeed a positive development in the interest of the State even as more is going to be done.
