A group under the aegis of Tiv Youth Patriotic Front, TYPF, have commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the ongoing construction of a world-class fashion hub in Makurdi, Benue State.
The group made the commendation in a statement signed by it’s President, Soonen Yoosu, and made available to newsmen in Makurdi.
The group hailed president Tinubu for keeping to the promise he made to the people of Benue State through the Vice-President, Kashim Shettima, in January this year, during the inauguration of the Expanded National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises(MSME) Clinics in Makurdi,where the Vice-President disclosed that plans were on to establish a world class fashion-hub in Makurdi within 90 days.
Comrade Yoosu stated that, the project which is a fulfilment of Tinubu’s promise of job creation and accessible capital to Nigerians will create job opportunities for Benue people when completed.

The group also commended President Tinubu for appointing Senator George Akume as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Prof Joseph Utsev as Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Dr. Mathias Byuan as Executive Director of Finance and Administration of the Federal Housing Authority, and several other apointments, including the apointments released by the Federal Ministry of Education on Friday.
TYPF equally commended Senator Akume for properly representing the state at the Federal Executive Council and facilating the award of several contracts to the state, including the award of contract for the construction of the bridge across River Buruku and facilating the apointment of many Benue sons in the Tinubu administration.
The group further commended members of the National Assembly from Benue State for speaking for the state, sponsoring bills, raising motions of urgent importance on the floor of both the red and green chambers, and frequently drawing the attention of the nation to the renewed insecurity in the state.
The group concluded by calling on all Benue indigenes to continue to rally behind the SGF to continue to attract more dividends of democracy to the state from the federal.
