The Benue State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has commended Agric- Climate Resilience in semi-Arid Landscape ( ACReSAL), a world Bank-assisted project for donating of 33 tractors and the provisions of $250,000 USD as loans to Community groups in Benue State.
In a statement by the State Publicity Secretary, Daniel Ihomun the party expressed hope that the donation will assist the State in the mitigation of sustainable land management practices and address the challenges of watershed degradation and other climate change disasters in line with the policy thrust of the organization.

According to the statement the party urged the Benue State Government to ensure that the ACReSAL project implementation in the State meets best global standards, noting that the initiative will improve Agricultural productivity and enhance food security in Benue State
it added that the party is grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR , the World Bank, Federal Ministry of Environment, ACReSAL, and other partners for the life-changing initiative.
