Anwuzia lauds reappointment of Ngozi as Director-General of WTO

The Member Representing Aniocha South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon (Dr) Isaac Anwuzia, has said that the reappointment of Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as the Director-General of the World Trade Organization, WTO, is a testament to her exceptional leadership, expertise, and dedication to global economic development.

Dr Anwuzia in a congratulatory message to Dr Okonjo-Iweala on the reappointment, described the WTO Director-General as a worthy sister and constituent who has been a role model and inspiration to many people within and beyond Nigeria.

The Lawmaker said he was thrilled on her reappointment, saying that Dr Okonjo-Iweala who hailed from Ogwashi- Uku in Aniocha South is a reflection of excellence and resilience of the people of the Constituency.

He said, “I am beyond thrilled to congratulate our own Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on her well-deserved reappointment as the Director-General of the World Trade Organization, WTO.

“This achievement is a testament to her exceptional leadership, expertise, and dedication to global economic growth and development.

“As a constituent, we are proud of her remarkable accomplishments, from her tenure as Nigeria’s Finance Minister to her current role at the WTO”, Anwuzia stated.

Stressing that the reappointment of Dr Okonjo-Iweala as DG, WTO is a recognition of her tireless efforts to promoting global trade, economic prosperity, the Lawmaker stated that the people are happy to have her as a sister.

“We celebrate her achievement, not just as a personal triumph, but also as a reflection of the excellence and resilience of the people of Aniocha South. We are honored to have her as a role model and inspiration to others, especially the younger generation”, Hon Anwuzia added.

He on behalf of his immediate family, the Ogwashi-Uku community and the entire Aniocha South constituency, congratulated Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, and wished her a successful second term in office.

Hon Anwuzia pointed out that as a people, they look forward to her continued leadership and contributions to global economic development.

The Lawmaker promised that the Constituency shall continue to celebrate her accomplishment, exemplary leadership and dedication to public service with great fanfare, recognizing the fact that she will always make them proud.
