Officers of the Nigerian Army have shutdown business activities at the ever busy plaza, Bannex, in Abuja.
According to a report some group of people who trade at the Plaza had beating up an officer in the early hours of the day when he visited the plaza.

The report continued that after beating up the military officer who was in uniform, they posted the recorded video of how the officer was manhandled on Facebook. However, the cause for the alleged beaten of the officer is yet unknown.
It was few minutes after the officer left the plaza that military troops in trucks storm the business area, drove both sellers and buyers out of the premises and mount guard at the gate denying entry to anyone.
As it stands, business owners and buyers are stranded outside the plaza and not knowing what actions are the soldiers going to take.
