Breaking: unidentified number of Students kidnapped in Benue

An unidentified number of secondary school students have been reportedly kidnapped in Benue State by unknown gunmen.

According to a report,  which did not state the name of the school of the students said the students who were conveyed in a  sharan bus were travelling from Wukari in taraba state to Benue State.

The report futher narrated that the students were kidnapped at Jootar in Ukum local government area of Benue State when  unknown gunmen stopped the bus and  diverted the students to an unknown destination.

No reports of the victims whereabouts at the moment of filing this report, and no ransom demands from the abductors yet.

Meanwhile, reactions have trailed the kidnapped incident as many expressed shock and called on state and federal governments to regain the freedom of those kidnapped students and return peace in the area.

In the meantime, neither the Benue State government nor the state police authority is yet to respond to suspected kidnapped incident

The Shankera axis has been a hotbed of insecurity ranging from thuggery, theft and kidnapping. It is also from the axis that the late Gana hailed from with his band of terrorists.
