Public Hearing on a bill for a Law to establish the Delta State College of Health Technology, Ovrode, Isoko North local government area, has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
A statement by the Chairman, House of Assembly Committee on Health, Hon. (Chief) Ferguson Onwo says the public hearing would hold at the Press Centre of the Assembly complex, Asaba by 2:00 in the afternoon.
Hon Onwo in the Statement, requested relevant stakeholders in the health sector, particularly the Delta State Ministries of health and Justice, College Of Health Technology, Ofuoma-Ughelli, Civil Society Organizations, interested individuals, organizations, corporate bodies, among others to be a part of the legislative process.

He asked the relevant stakeholders to submit 12 copies of their memoranda to the office of the Chairman, House of Assembly Committee on Health to reach the Clerk of the Committee on or before Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Hon Onwo stated that the expected memoranda must be sealed and marked; “College Of Health Technology, Ovrode” and addressed to the Chairman, House of Assembly committee on Health.

The State Assembly at its sitting on Wednesday 13 November 2024, referred the Delta State College of Health Technology, Ovrode bill, to the House Committee on Health for Legislative scrutiny and other legislative action.
