Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, Honourable Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation Engr Professor Joseph Terlumun Utsev,Minister of Finance and Cordinating Minister of Economy Mr Wale Edun, Ministers of Agriculture,Trade and Investment and CBN Governor today led Federal Government delegation to attend the 2024 African Caucus meeting in Abuja.

The meeting with the theme “Facilitating Intra-African Trade ,A Catalyst for Sustainable Economic Growth in Africa” was attended by Prime Minister of Rwanda Dr Edouard Ngirente and over Forty Central Bank Governors from Africa and Deputy Secretary General of United Nations.

Vice President Kashim Shettima who represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the occasion called on Africa to take charge of its economy and make it stronger and viable.

According to the statement by the Personal Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Honourable Minister, Terhemen Oraduen, Shittima informed delegates at the meeting that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration has embarked on strategic reforms aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians, ensuring economic growth and development.
