The media Aide to the immediate past Governor of Benue State, Terver Akase, has encouraged over one hundred young Benue farmers with Cassava stems for this year’s farming season.
Akase made the post Wednesday on his Facebook page titled: CASSAVA FOR YOUNG BENUE FARMERS.
He noted that the initiative will not be the last as more young farmers will be reached in the coming days.
He wrote: “Good morning friends. Last Sunday, I made a post on the return of my cassava stems giveaway to encourage young Benue farmers. We took note of those who asked for the stems in the comments section of the post and closed the entries at midnight (Sunday). We then picked the first 100 requests. These beneficiaries will not be the last persons to receive the stems as I will be doing another giveaway in the next couple of days to reach more young farmers.

“The first batch of 100 beneficiaries will be given their cassava stems by Bawu Farms owned by Dr Samuel Wuese.
